This course examines historical characteristics of Korean architecture, analyzes geographical, social and economical backgrounds which became the foundation of the development of modes of Korean architecture, deepens the understanding of Korean architecture through concrete case studies and analysis of references and seminar presentation, and figures out its characteristics compared with Chinese architecture.
